How To Make A Witch Bottle

How To Make a Witch Bottle

Traditional Protection from Curses, Hexes, and the Evil Eye
Witch bottles have been used for centuries in various ways. Nowadays, as perhaps before, they are used primarily as decoys to attract, absorb, confuse and defuse negative psychic energy being sent to a target or victim, whether it be random ill will or malicious cursing.
All it takes is a bottle or jar with a good watertight lid, and all sorts of bent pins or nails, broken glass or mirrors, cactus thorns, anything spiky, bent, or broken. Fill the jar or bottle with this stuff and then fill it a little more than halfway with one or a combo of: your own urine and/or a drop of blood or menstrual blood, and either plain water or vinegar, or for stronger effect, Four Thieves Vinegar. Cap the jar tightly.
Then you bury the bottle somewhere near your house, preferably under the front porch or near your front door. This is best done during the dark moon or just before, at midnight, but really anytime will do.
Here is the theory behind why the Witch Bottle works so well: Your urine or blood identifies it as “you,” and so then acts as a decoy for energy sent your way, the bent pins confuse the hex, the mirrors reflect the energy back to sender, the vinegar dissolves the curse, and the burying "buries the hatchet".
Good luck!

Llewellyn"s Spell of the Day

Self-Love and Beauty Spell

Spell Date: Friday, April 5, 2013

Color of the day: Rose

Incense of the day: Thyme

The Romans held Fridays sacred to Venus, goddess of love and beauty. The Greeks believed Friday was Aphrodite's day. This is the day for a love and beauty spell - not "outside" love but rather "inside" love, self-love.
Gather your favorite clothes, a piece of meaningful jewelry (magically charged, if possible), a hairbrush, and an anointing oil (jasmine or rose, for full love effect).
Stand in front of a mirror and gaze at yourself, intoning:

"I love myself as I am beautiful inside and out."

Apply scented oil.

"I'm anointed by Love's sacred care."

Lovingly brush your hair.

"I stroke my Strong spirit."

Put on your favorite clothes.

"Cloaked in Love's protection, I glow."

Add jewelry.

"Magic is mine, within and without."

Fully anointed and dressed up, go out and enjoy yourself, knowing that self-love is more important than other love, and true beauty comes from within.

II posted this because I thought that it a fabulous spell to share with you all. Blessing )0(

GET A JOB SPELL

Supplies needed:

Green Candle
Quartz and Onyx stones
Cinnamon
Lavender Oil
Alter Oil
4 Pennies.

Preperation:

Carve the name or type of job you desire (for me it was the name of the store I had worked at previously, this spell was to get that job back) consecrate your candle with alter oil and cinnamon. Place candle in candle holder and place in the middle of a dish, now sprinkle the cinnamon on and around the candle, place the Quartz and Onyx stones around dish also, pennies are also placed around the dish. Burn Lavender Oil, now say this spell while visualising having your job, and really feel that you will have this job, do not doubt this spell. let the candle burn all the way down.

At this time and in this hour,
I call upon the ancient powers,
of the Lord and Lady
I light this candle and
say this spell and ask of thee,
please bring my old job back to me,
with harm to none
as you will it
so mote it be!

Solitary Moon Rite

This rite may be used for either New or Full Moon. The difference is in your meditation and mental attitude in preparation. Remember that the New Moon is a time of outward work and thought, building to the peak which is the Full Moon.
At the Full Moon, you should be preparing to lessen the outward flow of energy, bit by bit, until the period before New Moon, during which you are passive, building a pool of energy within you, in preparation for the New Moon.
The altar should be placed in the center of the ritual area. On it should be placed a rose or stick of incense on the eastern side, a red votive candle to the South; a cup of water on the West, and a bowl of salt or living plant on the North. Around your ritual area, you should place an unlighted candle at the cardinal point of each direction.
To begin your rite, enter your darkened temple, carrying one burning candle, white or lavender, with you. Place it on the center of your altar, sit, and meditate on the meaning of the rite. When you feel the time is right, stand, and go to the eastern point, carrying with you, the burning taper. Light the votive at the eastern point and go to the southern, picturing, as you do, an arc of pure strong light curving from one candle to the next. Continue to the West, and then to the North, lighting the candles as you go, and then walk to your eastern candle again, having formed a circle of protective light surrounding the area in which you worship. Return to the center of the circle, replace the candle on the altar, and say:

"My Lady of the Moon, who is called Diana,
Artemis, Levanah, Isis and by any other names,
I come to you to bring you my love and my devotion.
May you grant me the joy of your presence."
Mentally divide the room into four quadrants by visualizing a line of silvery moonlight from the southeast to the northwest, and from the northeast to the southwest. Go the East, taking with you the rose or incense. Say:
"Sweet Goddess,
the gentle breeze is the touch of your loving hand,
the wind of storm a reminder of your strength.
The sound of the trees in the wind is your voice,
and the fragrance of flowers borne on the wind is your gift of beauty."
Place the rose next to the votive candle, then stand there as you picture the quadrant filling with moonlight. See the moonlight streaming quietly and gently into the room, filling the quadrant from center point to the edge of your circle. When this is complete, take the red candle to the South. Place the gift and see the quadrant fill with moonlight. Say:
"Most loved Lady,
the light of the candle is a guide along our path leading to you;
its warmth the reassurance of your presence and your love.
The light of the Sun is the knowledge you impart to us,
driving out ignorance and those things which can survive only in darkness."
     At the West:
"Lovely One,
the quiet pool is the serenity of your being.
The vast sea where life began on this planet
is the vast sea of your being whence all life came;
its waves are the ebb and flow of the universe you rule."
     At the North:
"Goddess of all,
the fertility of the earth is a sign of your fertility, whence all life rose.
The solidity and permanence are still of it are still less than yours.
The Earth's fertility feeds our bodies, and your fertility feeds our souls."
Go to the center of your temple, which is now filled with moonlight. Everything in the circle is touched by it, blessed by it, including you. Sit down and feel this moonlight around you. Know that it is the Goddess. Realize that you are in the center of a sphere of light that is half above and half above and half below where you sit.
Begin to breathe slowly and evenly, deep breaths that penetrate your whole body. When this rhythmic breathing becomes natural, imagine that the moonlight by which you are surrounded enters you, fills you entirely. With each exhalation of your breath, some of the essence of yourself leaves your body, and with each inhalation, the light enters you. You are being filled ever so gently with this beautiful light. This light, which is the presence, the being of the Goddess, is within you as well as without. With each breath, you are less yourself and more the Goddess. When you are filled with light, filled with the Goddess, the shell of your body fades away. You have no body; there is nothing to separate you from the entire being of the Goddess. Nothing exists but the being of which you are apart. You have ceased to be a separate entity. You are nothing and everything. All that was, that is, and all that will be, you are. Enjoy this feeling as long as you like.
When you feel it is time, picture the outer shell of your physical body reforming, becoming solid again. It is being built out of the Universe of which you are a part. Now, as you continue your slow deep breathing, see the moonlight flowing out of your body, as gently and slowly as it entered. As it flows out, realize there is a difference. Because you have become one with the Goddess, with the Universe, your being has changed. As the moonlight flows out of your body, it takes with it a part of that which was yourself, now part of the Goddess, and leaves behind a part of the Goddess, forever now part of you. You become yourself again, solid as you were, but changed. You are surrounded by the presence of the Goddess, which now contains a part of yourself . Move again to the East. As you speak, and after, picture the moon- light in that quadrant flowing back to its source, leaving that quadrant as it was. Do this at each quadrant, until all the moonlight has returned to the Moon.
     At the East:
"My Lady, guide my thoughts.
Let them lead always closer to you."
     At the South:
"Gracious Goddess, guide my actions.
Let them always help and never harm others or myself."
     At the West:
"Lovely One, guide my emotions:
Let them be healing and touched always by you."
     At the North:
"Sweet Goddess,
let my mind always be fertile and strong,
that I may grow always toward you."
Return to the East to complete the circle and say:
"Queen of Heaven,
I thank you for your presence,
both now and always.
My love and devotion are yours.
Blessed be!
All spirits who have joined me tonight may depart,
with my love.
Return to your proper places."
Walk again around your circle, but this time counterclockwise, extinguishing the quadrant guards as you go, and at the same time, mentally erasing the white line which surrounded your circle. When the candles are out and the circle gone, rap on your altar and say:
"So mote it be!"

Money Spell

Seven days before the Full Moon, annoint the candle with cinnamon oil. Light it, and fill the wood box with sea salt. Place the quartz crystal in the box, and bury it in the sea salt, to purify it's energy. In the green charm bag, place the dollar and coins along with the heal all, jasmine and patchouli, to charge the herbs with money power. now, smudge the room, the spell ingredients, and yourself. Burn the candle down one knob. Burn one knob of the candle every night. On the evening before the Full Moon, transfer the crystal from the salt to the charm bag.
On the night of the Full Moon, draw a hot bath with the prosperity bath salts. Light the last knob of the candle. Bathe, and repeat this incantation:

prosperity infuses my being

After the bath, remove the crystal from the charm bag, and massage your body with it, particularly the back of your legs. Smudge the area afterwards. Keep the crystal stored in the charm bag with the herbs and money, and massage yourself daily, repeating the incantation.

Rose Soul Mate Spell

Rose Soul Mate Spell

May 7
Friday

Color of the day: Purple
Incense of the day: Violet

Clean and sterilize a small, attractive jar with a cap. Set it upon a large, flat piece of stone. Put the jar in the center with rose petals, and get some carrier oil such as almond, jojoba, and rose essential oil. Place two red candles on either side of the stone and light them. Sit down and fill the jar with rose petals. Pour some carrier oil into the jar—enough to cover the petals—and add rose essential oil. Secure the jar with the cap. While shaking it gently, recite:

Rose petals of north, east, south, and west,

Hereby a soul mate I request, As I will, so mote it be.

Store the oil in a dark cupboard. This love oil can be used for anointing magical paraphernalia to do with love spells or dabbed over the body as a soft layering scent under your favorite perfume before going out.

Ritual of the Day

Sun Mantra Ritual

March 7
Sunday

Color of the day: Yellow

Incense of the day: Juniper

According to vedic astrological gem remedies, ruby is governed by the Sun, a planetary deity representing the male or father principle. The Sun’s color is blood red. Its nature is bile-dominated, and it presides over the east direction. The Sun is responsible for our immunity and physical makeup. It is also said to govern the brain, nerves, liver, lungs, heart, and bones. For gaining self-confidence, vitality, resistance, ambition, understanding of parapsychic phenomena, intellect, prosperity, success in worldly affairs, and strength, the Sun’s gems are worn after sanctification and repetition of the Sun’s mantra:

Om Hring Hamsah Suryaye Namah Om.

For horoscopes where the Sun is not well posited, it is advisable to perform “Mantra Yoga” by reciting the Sun’s mantra 108 times daily for a period of thirty days. Incense and tealight candles can be lit during mantra recital. Begin by clearing all mundane thoughts and breathing in a relaxed manner.

Plant the Seeds of Love

March 1
Monday

Color of the day: Silver
Incense of the day: Narcissus

Here is a little love spell for the one looking for love. It is a love spell for you. You need to love yourself first before you can ever learn to love someone else.

Plant a seed and watch it grow

and as you plant so you shall sow.

Plant a thought and give it care

and it will take you everywhere.

Plant some love inside your heart

and love to all you will impart.

Plant love in your own life first. Remember, if you feed it and nurture it, the love will steadily grow. You will be amazed at how people around you will notice and will be affected. And it will attract just the right kind of person you want and need in your life.

Festival of Feralia

Spell A Day

Festival of Feralia
February 21
Sunday

Color of the day: Amber

Incense of the day: Hyacinth

In ancient Rome, the festival of Feralia was celebrated on this day to honor the dead. Take the time today to remember your beloved dead. Look through old photo albums. Watch old home movies. Visit the cemetery where they are buried. Bring them flowers and honor their mark in the world and in your life. Speak their names and send them messages and prayers. Set out a plate and leave offerings to them. Give gratitude for your ancestors of blood and of spirit that guide your path. Send prayers to the earth that holds their bodies just as it will receive yours. Remember that you, too, will become an ancestor soon. What is remembered, lives.

Beloved ones beyond the veil,
I honor your life, I honor your love.
Accept these offerings as tokens of gratitude and love.
Thank you for your protection and guidance.
You are gone, but not forgotten.
Blessed be.

Complete Home Cleansing

Spell A Day

Complete Home Cleansing

February 20
Saturday

Color of the day: Gray
Incense of the day: Rue

Well it's Saturday—a perfect time to banish and to cleanse. Let's tap into the energies of the waxing Moon and turn up the volume on your personal wards at your home. Begin by physically cleaning the house. Dust, vacuum, mop, take out the trash, and remove clutter. Then light a new white candle of any size or shape. Set up a work area in the heart of your home and repeat the protection charm three times.
As this New Moon-white candle glows,
All around me, protection does grow.
I banish all negativity and ill intent,
This spell will hold even after the candle is spent.
By Saturn's day and the element of fire,
This spell is now sealed by my will and desire.
Move the candle to a safe place and let it burn until it goes out on its own.
