Why spend money on parchment paper, when you can make it. And If you want color parchment you can make it with food coloring.

My New Introduction
Marry Meet, to whomever is reading this, my name is Amethyst, I’m 44 years old, I live here in California, and I’m a witch, I've been practicing witchcraft for 17 years now, the reason that I was interested in witchcraft was for the magick aspect of it, I had know Idea that there was so much more to it, like the religion part, I was so uneducated about it at the time, but now that I fully understand what it’s about, and all the aspect of the craft, I have to say “I found my way home”, I have so much understanding of things now, than I did back then, and all the things that I have learned throughout the years, It has brought me peace, love and joy, and that's is what the Goddess has always wanted for me, and now the Goddess is calling on me to give back what she has blessed me with, to teach other who is looking to follow this wonderful path, and show them the right directions. There is so much about the craft that I love, like for instance, I love writing my own rituals and spells, it’s more rewarding than the ones you find in books, and I’m not saying that the ones in book are bad, I’m just saying that I get more satisfaction from writing my own, there is so much about Witchcraft that I find most enjoyable, and I’m so happy to know that there are others out there just like me, and that I’m not alone, Thank You and Many Blessing

No-Bake Cookie Bars
No-Bake Cookie Bars
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
3 cups quick-cooking oats
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
3 cups quick-cooking oats
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Spray an 8″ square pan with cooking spray and set aside. Measure the peanut butter & oats and set aside so they’re ready when you need them. Have your vanilla bottle handy along with a teaspoon. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa. Bring to a boil and once it reaches a full rolling boil, cook for 1 1/2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until melted, then stir in the vanilla and lastly the oats. Immediately pour mixture into prepared pan and put on a cooling rack to set until completely cool. Once cool, cut into bars. To make this recipe into the regular round cookies, just drop the mixture by spoonfuls onto wax paper and let cool. You can store them in an airtight container several days at room temp or over a week in the fridge.
I know this isn't witchey but I had to share it..lol
Lughnashdh 2013
The Simplified Witch
LUGHNASADH ~ From Scott Cunningham's, "Wicca A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner", 2005, p. 70
"Lughnasadh (August 1) is the time of the first harvest, when the plants of spring wither and drop their fruits or seeds for our use as well as to ensure future crops. Mystically, so too does the God lose his strength as the sun rises farther in the south each day and the nights grow longer. The Goddess watches in sorrow and joy as she realizes that the God is dying, and yet lives on inside her as her child.
Lughnasadh, also known as August Eve, Feast of Bread, Harvest Home, and Lammas, wasn't necessarily observed on this day. It originally coincided with the first reapings.
As summer passes, Wiccans remember its warmth and bounty in the food we eat. Every meal is an act of attunement with nature, and we are reminded that nothing in the universe is constant."
