A Stand For Your Book Of Shadows

Today I was walking by a shop that sold instruments, and I seen the cutest music sheet stand. I thought that it would make a wonderful stand for my Book Of Shadow.  That way I don't have to keep it on my altar  and they come in so many designs. Here are a couple of pictures so you can see what I mean. This is a basic design that cost about $20.00

Here is a more nicer looking one, that i'm sure cost more.
But there both nice. but I like the second one better. What do you think?

How To Make A Witch Bottle

How To Make a Witch Bottle

Traditional Protection from Curses, Hexes, and the Evil Eye
Witch bottles have been used for centuries in various ways. Nowadays, as perhaps before, they are used primarily as decoys to attract, absorb, confuse and defuse negative psychic energy being sent to a target or victim, whether it be random ill will or malicious cursing.
All it takes is a bottle or jar with a good watertight lid, and all sorts of bent pins or nails, broken glass or mirrors, cactus thorns, anything spiky, bent, or broken. Fill the jar or bottle with this stuff and then fill it a little more than halfway with one or a combo of: your own urine and/or a drop of blood or menstrual blood, and either plain water or vinegar, or for stronger effect, Four Thieves Vinegar. Cap the jar tightly.
Then you bury the bottle somewhere near your house, preferably under the front porch or near your front door. This is best done during the dark moon or just before, at midnight, but really anytime will do.
Here is the theory behind why the Witch Bottle works so well: Your urine or blood identifies it as “you,” and so then acts as a decoy for energy sent your way, the bent pins confuse the hex, the mirrors reflect the energy back to sender, the vinegar dissolves the curse, and the burying "buries the hatchet".
Good luck!

My New Introduction

Marry Meet, to whomever is reading this, my name is Amethyst, I’m 44 years old, I live here in California, and I’m a witch, I've been practicing witchcraft for 17 years now, the reason that I was interested in witchcraft was for the magick aspect of it, I had know Idea that there was so much more to it, like the religion part, I was so uneducated about it at the time, but now that I fully understand what it’s about, and all the aspect of the craft, I have to say “I found my way home”, I have so much understanding of things now, than I did back then, and all the things that I have learned throughout the years, It has brought me  peace, love and joy, and that's is what  the Goddess has always wanted for me, and now the Goddess is calling on me to give back what she has blessed me with, to teach other who is looking to follow this wonderful  path, and show them the right directions.  There is so much about the craft that I love, like for instance, I love writing my own rituals and spells, it’s more rewarding than the ones you find in books, and I’m not saying that the ones in book are bad, I’m just saying that I get more satisfaction from writing my own, there is so much about Witchcraft that I find most enjoyable, and I’m so happy to know that there are others out there just like me, and that I’m not alone, Thank You and Many Blessing
